Really fabulous local fare. The workers and owners were so kind and great at connecting with us. Very appreciative. In addition, the food was marvelous. Unique offerings that are distinct from the parents Malay our Chinese heritages. I would love to return.

Food was authentic and delicious. Price point might be approximately 10 - 20% higher than your typical franchise peranakan restaurants in shopping malls but still very reasonable overall. Reservation process was fuss-free. Staff were very attentive to our needs and explained the menu very well. Interior of the restaurant is stunning. Overall, I would highly recommend this restaurant for an authentic peranakan meal.

The dishes tasted very homely and the flavours were amazing. Our favourites were the Ayam Buah Keluak, Assam Fish, and Stir Fried Laksa. Would highly recommend this place for a cosy, authentic Peranakan meal.

We met up with some friends from my partner's past who live in Singapore, and they took us to this delightful restaurant, which includes, on their website, "Peranakan culture reaches as far back as the 15th century. It is a unique fusion of ancient Chinese culture with the local customs of the Straits Settlements. An important aspect of this hybridisation is, undoubtedly, the food." Our hosts and the owner chose a wonderful array of dishes from the excellent menu, all wonderfully cooked and with some very unique tastes. We had a delicious feast and would strongly recommend visiting. Our feast included: - Jantung Pisang Kerabu: Shredded heart of banana blossom, julienned mango and prawns tossed in a dressing of coconut cream and sambal belachan - Kueh Pie Tee Set: Served to be assembled yourself •- half a dozen shells, shredded bamboo shoots, jicama stewed with prawn and pork, garnished with fresh herbs - Fine French Beans: Delicate beans sautéed with dried shrimp and, optionally, chilli padi - Rendang: Aromatic spiced coconut gravy with serondeng coconut flakes with: "Gold Coin" Beef Shin - Sotong Masak Hitam: Succulent squid cooked in a rich, complex sauce of rempah and its own ink - Ikan Tempra: Whole Deep fried seabass in a tamarind sauce with a garnish of caramelised onions and chilli - Apom Berkuah: Fermented rice pancakes with banana compote - Durian Pengat durian mousse A really tasty cuisine.

Rich and savory mains: the beef is tender and cooked to perfection, and their iberico pork dish is superb. And oh, did I tell you the jasmine rice is free flow. Refreshing drinks and dessert is divine. I'm bringing my friends and family to dine.

Came by this place as I was around the area. First impression is a good resto with good interior and very friendly staff. Went for 4 dishes, price is still kinda steep but pretty normal for peranakan dishes. Definitely not in the league of rempapa or violet oon also noting the price differences. The beef rendang was tender, got an unlucky veiny one actually, their rempa comes a little sour for people who likes it. Chupcai was good, can do a bit more braised for the veggie to be soggier actually. Favourite is definitely babi pongtei. The sauce is good and salty and the meat is good balance between fat and lean. Will be great if there's more mushrooms. The fried laksa was ok, can be saltier but wokhey is really good! Rice is normal I guess, tbh not fancinated with pea rice, but looks good. Dessert is really good! Had the chendol without red beans which was nicely done. Good balance.

Super lovely little chic Peranakan restaurant in an eclectic neighbourhood. Loved the decor. And loved the dishes more - Authentic and tasty. The Chilli Chuka 🌶️ was a killer - loved it. Definitely looking forward to returning to try out other dishes. Be warned that the restaurant on a Saturday evening can get really packed, so advanced reservation is needed to get a table. Thank you for the great yummy dishes and 💯 service.

Amazing staff, very attentive service, very welcoming, enjoyed chatting to them for a little while after my meal. I even got an extra dessert. The food was stunning. My first time trying Peranakan food. The randang and the prawn salad were juicy and slightly spicy. Just the right level of heat for me. Highly recommended.
